What is your position in the company?
I’m on the finishing team. I install trim, doors, closet systems, and make sure all the cleanup and finishing touches are taken care of before homeowners move in.
What do you like most about your job or position?
I like the satisfaction of seeing every detail taken care of, and seeing the excitement of homeowners as they see their dream home completed. I really enjoy working with my team, learning from and teaching one-another as we work to continue to expand skills.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I spend most of my free time with my family. I have 6 kids with endless energy, so we spend a lot of time exploring the area around our new home. I also like to hunt and fish. I am also an English student, and study my Islamic faith and the Qur’an.
How are you involved in the community?
My family came to Stevens Point as refugees from Afghanistan in 2022. Now that we’ve been here long enough to get our feet under us, we help the resettlement agency that brought us, and other people in the community who support refugee resettlement efforts in the area to understand our experience, and improve the process for new families they are supporting now and in the future.

Building Consultant – I design, estimate, and expedite your new home.
What do you like most about your job or position?
My job changes every single day.
Small house, big houses, it’s always different.
What do you like to do in your free time?
My wife and son keep my pretty busy. I love the outdoors, deer hunting & playing baseball.
How are you involved in the community?
I am on the board of directors for the Portage County Historical Society and also volunteer as a carpenter.
I am the president of a baseball division in which I also manage and play for the Plover Pterodactyls amateur baseball team.
What is your position in the company?
Operations Manager – I run the office and the preconstruction side of the house, including sales, design, pricing, site prep and logistics.
What do you like most about your job or position?
Working with customers and designing a house to meet their specific need. It is a rewarding experience to build a house and see it become a home.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I have a wife and four kids, we enjoy our hobby farm and camping in the great outdoors. We also enjoy our family movie nights.
How are you involved in the community?
I am currently an elder at our church in Pittsville, WI.
What is your position in the company?
I am blessed to be co-owner at Heartland, having opportunities each day to Build Better Living! Acting as COO, I spend much of my day connecting the office to the field. Primarily, I oversee the schedule between our great field crew and awesome group of sub-contractors to ensure projects continue with a smooth flow. It truly is being part of a team that makes it all happen.
What do you like most about your job or position?
The best part of my job is seeing the positive difference we can make in someone’s life. Whether it is a customer having their dreams built, a crew member being able to achieve a big life goal, or simply giving encouragement to a sub-contractor on a long day. Everyone is here to improve life as we know it in some way or another and it’s really cool to be a part of that.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Busyness never seems to go away, so when there is a chance for free time, I love to spend it with my family! My wife and I have two wonderful kids who fill the downtime. Together we enjoy camping, chilling with friends, or just a quiet night at home. During the summer months I also enjoy getting ready for hunting season with food plots and property management. Then once fall comes, you can’t beat a day in the woods enjoying God’s creation!
How are you involved in the community?
I am involved at Woodlands church where I am a member and get to serve with volunteers monthly.

I work with customers through the sales and logistics.
What do you like most about your job or position?
Meeting new customers to try to help them put their vision in a finished home. Also, working with the team to ensure they have what they need to keep on track.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Hunting, camping, splitting firewood, ax throwing, family time.
How are you involved in the community?
Coach ax throwing for the youth ages 8-15 in community.
What is your position in the company?
Trim Carpenter – I strive for quality beauty in homes. Tasks include installing cabinets, countertops, and doors.
What do you like most about your job or position?
My favorite things about trim carpentry is working with home owners. They plan their dream and then I get to build it. I love to see their dreams becoming reality.
What do you like to do in your free time?
When I’m not training mixed martial arts, I enjoy playing board games in my free time.
How are you involved in the community?
I volunteer at my church running slides during service. I’m also a volunteer wrestling coach for UW-Stevens Point.
What is your position in the company?
Administrative Assistant – I handle the day-to-day office tasks and connect new and existing home building clients with the rest of our team.
What do you like most about your job or position?
I really appreciate the attitude and environment of the company. They genuinely care about their coworkers and clients. You can feel the difference when you walk in each time.
I enjoy meeting all the new clients and getting to know about their home building experience.
There are a lot of moving parts, and it makes each day unique.
What do you like to do in your free time?
When I have free time, I love to read and workout. My daughter and I like to find new restaurants and ice cream places to try. Let me know if you have any recommendations!

I like to volunteer in the school systems.

What do you like most about your job or position?
Being able to see your progress, but mostly the fine tuning and detail work that brings together the finished product.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Woodworking, shooting guns, spending time with family and friends.

I’ve done volunteer work/donated labor and dog walking at the Humane Society.

I like to ride motorcycles, camp, fly-fish and wood carve.

What do you like most about your job or position?
I love that I get to be a part of building dreams and having the opportunity to meet great people. With my position, I get to pass on the knowledge that has been passed on to me and help build the company and keep moving forward.
What do you like to do in your free time?
On my free time you will find me building or working on a DIY project and working with my son.

Providing support and taking care of as many back-office functions as possible so that others can focus on building beautiful homes.
